Drake talking about his debut album...Thank Me Later
When do you ever hear in interviews that rappers study other rappers lyrics? This man is a genius and for all you haters, leave Drake alone...he's making paper, like they say More Money More Problems!
Shyne signs 7-figure deal with Def Jam!!
Multiple sources have confirmed that Shyne Po has signed a 7-figure deal with Def Jam. This ends a bidding war that had industry bigwigs vying for Shyne’s attention, flying to Belize, calling and courting, ever since the Brooklyn emcee was released from prison and deported to Belize back in October.
He will be under management by HipHopSince1978. The team that also manage T.I., Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake and Young Jeezy. With this team in place, Shyne is very good hands. If your wondering how he will be making music since he was deported from the U.S., he will be working in London (which is a good move because rap and hip hop influence is rising rapidly over there).
If you have never heard the dude, or never been interested, check his first album out, definitely a classic and one of all time favorites.

Today is feb 22nd and Its the birthday of the great Julius "Dr. J" Erving. If you don't know who this guy is you should just forget about ever watching basketball ever again in your life. yes we all talk about the way that jordan and dominique used to dunk back in the days, but the only reason they ever attempted those dunks was because this guy did them before them. This guy all by himself revolutionize the slam dunk in the NBA. Its really amazing and beautiful to watch. Well today is his 60th birthday and the NBA is doing tribute to him, so i decided to join the club. Enjoy!

Just A Penny For My Thoughts
Today I wanna talk about one of my favorite album covers, Venni Vetti Vecci by Ja Rule, I know the fan base of Ja has decreased over the years, but I still love Ja.. To me this is a nasty album cover to a nasty album. I love photography, and this photo right here is incredible. It's a dark album that covers struggle and pain, and this album cover covers that. The Jesus Christ monument shows off a powerful image and Ja Rule on in the prayer position makes it even more powerful.

Kanye West's New Album
The homie Big Sean confirmed this week, that Kanye is working on his new album and will keep his school theme.The album's name will be Good Ass Job, DJ A-Trak said he's in Hawaii helpin Ye. Also, in Drake's feature in GQ's latest issue, Drake, who worked with Kanye for his upcoming album, said that "Kanye's album is going to be one of the best hip hop albums in the last 10 years."
No info on a release date, but I will keep you posted as more information surfaces, just know that he is currently making the best album of all time haha. Let the hype begin!!

Bill Plympton
Anybody that knows me, knows that I LOVE ART!!! I can look and admire at paintings, drawings, pictures all day long, and I'ma be postin up some of the artists and artwork that inspire my passion towards art, today I'm talkin about Bill Plympton. He started off by doing comic strips on the New York Times newspaper, you probably never heard of him. But have you guys seen the "Heard Em Say" video by Kanye West?, well yeah, he did all of those animations, BY HIMSELF! This dude started off in the 70's.. its 2010 and his art is still appreciated, well, at least by me, really shows you how big art is. But google this guy sometime, he has some amazing work.

It'sabout a soldier who returns home from a mission to find his true love slain, Lucifer takes her soul and he is determined to get it back, even if it means going through 9 Stages of HELL. WORST SLAM DUNK CONTEST EVER!
So today is Saturday February 13 and the NBA all star weekend is on. let me just tell you when i was a kid besides the finals the all star week used to be the best thing about the NBA. man i have seen some great dunk contest, 3point shootout, all star games etc. but for some reason ever since like 2005 and on the NBA all star week are getting worst by the minute. it is incredible the dunk contest don't have any great dunks, the all star games don't have any spark, and in the three point contest the contestants are missing shots. like seriously WTF is this? this is sum bullshit!!! year after year i am disappointed. This year wasn't all that different but for some reason i staid home to watch it. oh man biggest mistake of my life like seriously I don't think i have ever been this upset I completely wasted about two hours of my life, AGAIN!! Well I'm gone i still could make up for this night PEACE.

Heavy Rain
From French developer Quantic Dream brings you Heavy Rain, a movie like video game with decision making that follows realistic consequences in a crime that deals with a serial killer which only attacks at night (when raining) but leaves origami figures behind with the dead bodies. In the game you play multiple characters, when you make a wrong decision and your character dies then you move on with another character (only 6 of them you use). Everything is real, and the scenes make it look like a real movie, Gamespot and Playstation Magazine have gave it 9 out of 10 stars this is a game to must play, demo is out on Playstation Store for FREE! You can't go wrong with this game and I hope you enjoy because I know once February 23rd comes, the game will be in my console!

Raekwon Wants Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish to Play him in Upcoming Biopic
In a recent interview with XXLMag.com, Raekwon spoke on a film project he’s currently developing called C.R.E.A.M.; the same title of the Wu-Tang Clan’s classic 1993 single.
According to Rae, the movie will center on his early life in Staten Island, focusing on the exploits of him and his friends before picking up the mic. “It’s basically a journey into the lives of young cats, such as myself,” he explained, “…that go through so many things around themselves and dealing with family. [It’s about] that love that they have for everything they do, [that] takes them through hell to make it right again. So this movie is definitely a story of my life.”
The Wu-Tang MC says that the script is already written and he wants Chuck Inglish of the Cool Kids to portray him in the flick. “A couple of the young MCs in the game, such as the Cool Kids, I think there’s one of them that kinda resemble me,” Rae said. “So we thinking of letting them have fun, with them catching a vision of all the things we did back in the days. I really feel like I had a full life as a kid, where I went through many different things, from playing sports to being caught up in the streets and then having knowledge of self.”
But Rae wants to make it clear that the movie won’t just center on him. “Put it like this, it’s more than just me that I’m trying to get across to,” he shared, “The movie will be told not just the life story of mine but the life stories of others as well.”
Giving a glimpse into the conclusion of the movie, Rae says, “The ending of the movie is probably gonna be when I pick up the pen, and write, ‘I grew up on the crime side…’ and write it in the inside of an abandoned house on the stove.”
The ending of the movie sounds pretty ill, but what yall think about the resemblence?
