How To Make It In America

Episode 7

I started watching this show in the beginning of its debut and right away I was fully into the show. Humorous and interesting show that sort of gives the viewer the idea of how to actually make it in america. Word of advice networking is the way to glory. I got kinda away from the show due to classes and tests and now the show is coming to a season finale next week. Anyways heres the rest of the season if you become interested. Enjoy!

"Move over Rover, and let Jimi take over!"

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One of my favorite musicians ever, Jimi Hendrix his new album, The Jimi Hendrix Experience's Valleys Of Neptune enters The Billboard 200 at #4, putting the rock legend back in the top five nearly 40 years after he died at the tragically young age of 27. No other artist has cracked the top five this long after his death. Elvis Presley is in second place. His Elvis: 2nd To None debuted at #3 in October 2003, a little more than 26 years after his death..

Hendrix is the second music legend to make the top five posthumously in the past two weeks. Johnny Cash bowed at #3 two weeks ago with American VI: Ain't No Grave. But Cash died less than seven years ago. It's more remarkable for an artist who died four decades ago to make significant chart waves.LONG LIVE JIMI!!

A Great Player....Retired

Nomar Garciappara retired today as a memeber of the Boston Red Sox. While playing for the Athletics, he became a free agent this off season and signed with the Red Sox once again for a one day contract...only to retire where he started it all and won batting and MVP titles. He told ESPN "I knew i always wanted to retire in a Red Sox uniform" and so he did. Now becoming one of the ESPN baseball player turned analysist. We wish him a good future.
